Glee!

Hello everyone!

It's the end to another long week. Just take a deep breath and relax. Ahhh. Now that feels better, doesn't it?

I'm really excited for tonight, because I'm going to the father daughter laser tag event in a couple of hours! It's going to be awesome, I'm sure. I'm going to wear all black, maybe even put some eyeliner on to get in the spirit of the event. I love video games, (esp. games like Halo and Call of Duty) and so this is like real life action video game stuff. It's seriously just awesome.

And then there's this weekend. I've prepared for the choir weekend by finishing all my homework before 5 pm today. That was a really nice accomplishment, because it's going to be all work this weekend. Choir festival is an intense, but also a really enjoyable event. I'm so excited for it on Monday! Our preformance is going to be amazing, I just know it. Even if you don't like the choreography, I think we still sound pretty awesome. So yeah, please send kind thoughts to choir people this weekend so we can get through it all!

What else is there to say... OH YEAH. Smallville comes back tonight!!! After a month off (like a ton of other shows), it's finally back! I can't wait to see how the last half of the last season progresses. We're all waiting for the moment when Clark will put on his cape. I bet it's probably going to happen on the last episode, but it would be cool if it happened before that. Sigh. How many people even know about Smallville? Does anyone besides me watch it? If so, please leave a comment so I know I'm not alone :-)

Ok, Photoshop picture of the week. It was inspired by the return of Glee incase you can't guess :P You could use this pic as a wallpaper to show your inner Gleek too. Enjoy!

Peace out,

Nathalia

P.S. - here's the story that we're trying to keep up: Once upon a time there was a girl. She lived in the jungle with her pet dragon and enjoyed.../AND SUDDENLY SHE WALKED INTO A CLOSET. LIKE NARNIA./ The closet was filled with various overcoats and things, and the girl thought she was walking into Narnia! However, all she found at the back of the closet was wood. Then the girl sat down and cried herself to sleep, snuggling next to her pet dragon./

Punky is feeling Punky-ish

Punky is feeling Punky-ish.

Punky is going tro reflect on the day now. So don't leave poor Punky.

Hmmm....so...today, at Punky's school there was this thing called Honors Assembly. It's a special thing where Punky and her classmates could be recognized for their EXCEPTIONAL work in school. But Punky thinks its rigged. Everyone is special so everyone should recieve awards. Punky likes that idea very much.

Punky also thinks the end of the world is coming. No joke. -_- Something bad has literally happened everyday this year. Punky thinks she's gonna dieeeeeeeeeeeee. PUNKY SAYS TO STAY AWAY FROM THE EVIL NUMBERS- (11 and 14 and 22) For example, Punky's friends lost a basketball game to a bunch of teachers because three of the kid's jerseys were 11, 22, and 14. So HAH. Punky proved the evil number theory. ALSO- there's a really bad snow storm in the midwest and a cyclone is going to Australia. DUN DUN DUN. stay tuned for more.
Oh. And there's that whole thing in Egypt. I wonder what that's about (punky is being sarcastic- hint hint, cough cough, wink wink)

Punky has a question- What if YOU lost a mountain?

Punky needs to do homework. Punky needs to stop writing this. Punky says bye.

P.S- Punky hopes you were able to understand this Punky-ness.

Cheese Danish

Today is a good day. Here's why. I woke up to my alarm at 5:40, got out of bed around 6:40, went to Toads coffee at 7:20, bought a cheese danish and apple juice, and got to school early, around 8:05. I have a lot of homework to finish tonight, including reading to chapter 19 in Huck Finn (I need to be ahead because of History paper), three paragraphs in History, and roughly 70 pages in that MLK book. Lots of homework, but ohwell. If i finish early I'll watch Pretty Little Liars :)

Actually that's a lie. I'll get startedon Theology questions because that would be nice to get ahead.

I literally spend 30 minutes yesterday planning out my entire week/weekend based on homework.

good use of time?

actually, yes.

Dress of the week:

I'm super glad we got out sweatshirts yesterday. Mine is rather warm. I do not think anyone will have trouble remembering the year we graduate now :)

So Cailyn didn't post yesterday, so I guess I'll start the theme. It may not work, but maybe it will. I wonder how far we could keep this going. I'll start a story, and at the end of your blog post, you continue it. and we'll see what it turns into.

>Once upon a time there was a girl. She lived in the jungle with her pet dragon and enjoyed...

Let's keep it going! haha

What else is there to talk about.

>Flameboy is mean.

>My cat is adorable.

>My lunch is tasty.

>So is this apple juice.

yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.....

OH theology class. I have a feeling that this semester it is going to get quite messy. we're talking about morality and many people in our class have very strong feelings. It also doesn't help that I don't agree with Carasco's point of view at all. She keeps talking about the Christian Utopia, and honesty, etc. And I agree that honesty is great but in order to have a Christian Utopia, we would need to say "these people are wrong, and we (Christians) are right." Utopia for Christian's, sure but not for anyone else. It's like saying "We can have world peace as long as I'm the leader." That again would be saying someone is right and someone is wrong. Again, not a Utopia for everyone. Utopia, by definition, means perfect. So who decides what is perfect? Again, it would be a Utopia according the Christians with what she's talking about. And for a Christian Utopia (perfect world) to occur, obviously they would decide what is right and what is wrong, who is correct and who is misled etc. and they would need to change other people's views. Maybe they think they are helping create this Utopia, but not being a Christian and being forced to live in the "perfect world" would make me pretty angry. I do not think there is every a possibility for a Utopia (sorry to be pessimistic) because like I said, by definition, Utopia means perfect, and creating one would give someone the power to decide what is perfect. Everyone has their own Utopia because everyone is different.
Did that make any sense?
And she brought up the point of "is killing someone moral?" I am just hoping no one bring up the topic of abortion because that would get really heated. Is an embryo considered a human?
But then again, what if Utopia doesn't mean "perfect", it means "Different" and accepting differences.
Problem: Some people believe in fighting for what they believe. Then war starts. not so Utopia now is it?
So then we go back to accepting differences and not waging war.
Sure, little differences are fine, but what about the psychopath or that person who believes that killing people because "God said so" is ok? Then what? Do we accept that that's how he thinks and accept his differences? If not, then who decides what differences we accept and what differences we do not? He believed what he was doing was right, who's to tell him he's wrong? What if we're the crazy ones?

Comments?
Thanks for reading (if you did.)

Adios,
Kylie.

Whoops

So guess what guys. i officially got the okay to play softball!

EXCEPT. I have conditions where I cannot get a C or lower on an assignment before the season starts. Which I already have. But I got it before the terms were set, so, maybe there is still hope.

Whatever.

I would love to not fret about school for once.

My stomach still hurts.

HERE ARE MY PET PEEVES:

1) People who get mad when you don't explain things, then when you do explain things, they misinterpret them and get angry when you try and correct them.

2) People who say something with no humor whatsoever, then repeat it after no one laughs because they think they were too quiet. Making things louder does not make them funny.

3) When I have to not get any Cs at all to do something I am really excited about.

4) Vectors.

5) Facebook likes that really are not funny but somehow manage to acquire 16K likes.

6) Homophobia.

7) Reading 110 pages for homework. coughcarrascocough. Excuse me.

Ode to a stomach ache
So you're really good for nothing
But you give me an excuse
To not do any housework
And not be of any use
I really really hate you
My least favorite kind of pain
But I got to sit around
And not really use my brain.

djflk;ajflkdafjldsakjflkdjflakjfldajflkaj go away stomach ache.
