TGIF

Today is Friday, the gateway to the weekend and a time to relax. Most of you probably aren't doing homework. You take the time to unwind and prepare for the weekend. But before Friday is over, I just want to give a shout out to Jennifer Klein, because it's her birthday today! Wish princess Jennifer a sweet 16 :D

So yeah. How was your week? Leave a comment if you want to tell us anything revelant. My week was ok, thanks for asking.

On another note, the drama department is looking for a few more enthusiastic thespians to do drama this fall. If you want more info, I suggest talking to Yazzy.

BTW- a new poptropica island came out this week called Steamworks. From what I've heard, it's challenging, but as always, fun. If you have no idea what poptropica is, go wikipedia it or just browse around on the website.

And finally, a new Potter Puppet pals video recently came out. It's pretty funny, and I suggest wasting 2:43 of your life to watch it. The video is embedded below:

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Socker

YES I did spell soccer wrong on purpose. I actually know there is no k, thank you very much.
Let me explain. So, if you didn't know, today was the first soccer game of the year. FR vs. Bear Creek - we beat them last year, but not so this year. Although we didn't lose. And we didn't score. We actually tied...0-0. Exciting.
That's not the point, though. ALTHOUGH, I did play! For like 10 minutes but that's better than last year... I started, if that counts for anything. Anyway. Again, that is not the point.
The point, is socks.
Yes, socks. Our team is supposed to have matching socks. Well, let's just say, did not happen. I for one was wearing blue, but there were a lot of whites and a couple blacks as well. It looked funny. Unique...maybe...but highly Forest Ridge. A school where we are all smart, mostly intelligent human beings who bring new, deeper levels to Catcher in the Rye, yet, for some unknown reason, cannot match socks.
Interesting.
I wonder.
Do you?
About the matching socks I mean, not Catcher in the Rye. Although I wonder about that sometimes as well.
Anyway.
That's what was on my mind for t'day.
On a side note, a Joke A Wednesday.
Why are seagulls called seagulls even though they live by the bay?
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +

BECAUSE, otherwise, they would be called BAYGULLS!!!
Bahahaha.
Joke credit to Shanti.
Let's see... what next.
Picture?
Okay, so I don't know if this actually worked. If it did, the dancing cat was off the internet, and the long word is, as it seems, a very long word. Try to memorize it.
By the way, I met Katie's challenge. Today I met Vanessa, and she was pretty legitimate. We had a good time at curriculum night.
Well, time for Ellen to go beddy-byes.
So,
Over and Out.
Cheers,
Ellen :)

To Bea or not to Bea...

Answer: To Bea! happy birthday! We all hope you have a great day even though you probably won't see this. ohwell.

So happy Tuesday! Today's weather report is this: find a piece of gray paper. Stare at it. That's the weather. ALSO breaking news: HUGE backup both ways on I-90. I heard there's a metal hanging thing or something and a car crash and something with a truck. Conclusion: don't drive on I-90 today.
More breaking news: Kylie is out of pop tarts. damn.
Even more breaking news: Kylie has figured out a successful way to get through english reading or history reading or whatever reading you don't want to do! Here''s the secret. (To Katie and my delight) It involves Jelly Beans!
Step one: open text book to page you need to read.
Step two: Place one or two jelly beans at the end of each paragraph.
Step three: Begin reading. everytime you get to a jelly bean, you can eat it! It makes it go a lot faster. Trust me. haha.

My last post was during the summer. Which means this is my first post druing the school year! Yay! I hope you are all enjoying school. I know I am. To follow up on Katie's challenge, I went a step further and made friends with a 5th grade. Points for me :) Her name is Gigi and she's super nice. Mom used to be her PE teacher and as she says, she's always off in "Gigi world"... haha. But I am friends with many freshmen. Challenge completed :)

What else...OH the new desk I told you guys about is now decorated with thimbles and fuzzy dice. I realized anything can become pretty with Fuzzy dice. Except maybe those creepy Chinese dog things. They are helpless in the pretty department.

NOTE TO SELF: DO NOT GOOGLE IMAGE UGLY CHINESE DOG. *shutters...*

I realized something the other day that I'm sure many of you already have. I was talking to Devin (Dexter to Cailyn) and I said lol.
doesn't it look like a drowning person? lol -> ~^~lol~~^~
Those pointy things are sharks. Or narwhals. haha
And it's sort of ironic that lol stands for laughing out loud...

Well, onto treadmill and erging :)

Ciao! *K

P.S. check out Charlie's new video. There are no words... <3

Dreams

When you go to sleep, you rarely dream something you actually want.  I mean running around being the queen of dinosaurs isn't exactly not something that would be cool.  But, a tangible want is not something you usually dream about.

Last Night I dreamt that I got three bunnies.  One was White and had floppy ears and i have no idea what the other two looked like. I suppose i should have realized it wasn't real when I accidentally left my two pets in the car....for several "hours".

It got weirder after that.  First there was an oven atmosphere in the car, and they lived through every single hour...and then they fell of a cliff thing, their cage exploded and they didn't even freak out...just started eating some grass....

Sorry this is so short, but, I'm pondering my dream...and scheming on how to get a bunny in real life :).

Saturday and Sunday

Like the complete loser I can be, I have finished every bit of my homework except for REreading APUSH. I feel like such a nerd! It's awful. Except today, I get to...

PARTY!

That's right. I am going to Bumbershoot. Today. It's gonna be legit.

Bumbershoot is so amazing. I went last year and it was so much fun. All you do is walk around the Seattle Center whilst listening to music and eating food. And by food, I mean a LOT of food like gyros (which I thought was spelling euros or yuros) and egg rolls.

That is a gyro. Word of advice: Never eat a gyro while on a date. They are the messiest food on the entire planet. You'll end up looking like a completely idiot. They are quite the turn-off.

MY LEG IS CRAMPING... ow...

After I spend the afternoon wandering and buying random crap I don't need, I am going to the Main Stage show. It's Weezer. Oh goodness, I am so excited. This is going to be so freaking legit.

***

I am going to start a new thing called challenge of the week where I will challenge you to do something. You can participate if you want to.

Mission: To make friends with a freshman.

That's right. I want you to TALK to a FRESHMAN. They are really cool. I already have freshmen as friends. They're not as lame as they seem.

Katie ---> out. MWAH.
