Oh Monday, Oh Humanity

Haha, that was a spin on a quote from Bartleby.

Today is the first monday we have attended school this year.  Oh wonderful.  (<- maybe if we repeat it enough times we will come to believe it haha)

My homework tonight is top priority...right after sleeping.  If i can skimp on something, someone should seriously let me know because I will DO IT.  Actually its really just a lot of writing and some printing.  Not that bad, I'm sure it could be worse.  I should really be working on my posts more but lately there's been nothing I've really wanted to say.

UNTIL NOW

School. It makes you realize that the rest of your life will be spent working.  C'est la vie.  School then college, the (hopefuly) right into a career.  All those monotonous days ahead of us working for whoever the hell will end up signing our paychecks.  This does not sound fun.

unless...

Unless you get to do something you love.  Imagine doing that one thing, (or two things) you love to do most in the world, and getting paid for it.  Seems pretty sweet oui?  Well.  First you have got to do well in that subject, or the subjects that pertain to your passion.  Which shouldn't be all that hard since you have the want to work at it...
Second, you have to know you can do it.  Its the slippery slope my dears, that first little bit of doubt can tear you down.  It's completely cliche, but completely true.  Again with reminding yourself returning to school is wonderful, you will come to believe it.  After all, what's the point of dreaming when you have no hope?
Third, and probably the most difficult.  Don't give up.  Unless something drastic happens or you honestly (you must be honest with yourself) aren't interested anymore, that's fine.  But giving up because "it's hard" or "its unlikely" will get you nowhere.  Honest to God, I think i will come after you if you do this.

If you want to know what exactly spurred this on, you may never find out.  Basically the one thing that pisses me off more than anything else is when people who have wanted things for as long as i've known them, tell me completely out of the blue that they don't believe in themselves anymore and are moving on to other things.

Really, should I be the one to feel the disappointment for them?
Oh Well.  Just felt like I should get that out there.

For those of you who do not follow Kylie's blog "A Question A Day" it requests that we send prayers to Cody Botten and his family.  She posts on a different day , so I thought I would send out the request now instead of wasting a day without including them in our thoughts.
