I guess I should post something, shouldn't I?

Yes, I should.

I don't have much to say. Here is a list:

Things to say:

1) I am doing my oral report in French class about Harry Potter.

2) I saw Dance Company last night. There were some really good dances and then there were some really bad dances. And then a couple in the middle.

3) I liked Shanti and Alexa's dance.

4) I have two pages of history paper complete.

5) I have zero pages of English essay complete.

6) I am in a mix of feeling too bad to eat and eating my feelings. It's blissful, because I have two lovers. One is Ben, the other is Jerry.

7) I am getting tested for ADD soon. Yep.

8) I am grounded again. Unless I have ADD because then that explains my grades? Hmm...

Dance Co.!

Since tonight is the Dance Company opening night, I figured I would go and support all my fellow dancers, as well as see the faculty dance. It's going to be a blast- you guys should all try and make a point of going.

Today has also been a very unproductive yet relaxing day. I did my English homework, yes, but nothing else. I know I should be working on my APUSH and English papers but... you know, there's the whole weekend to work, right? So instead I watched an episode of Project Runway online, looked up some patterns for pumpking carving (I'm doing it tomorrow, and still not sure what to carve into my pumpkin. Any ideas? leave a comment please!), and watched some mindless tv while playing around in Photoshop. Yeah, that was my epic Friday. Oh well. At least I got to eat some mac and cheese. That was delicious. And I got a giant pixie stix. That rocked too. hehe.

I feel really creative right now. I think I'm going to go draw something... like maybe a picture of a gazelle! Yes, I will go look for pictures of gazelles. Or flip through my National Geographic magazines... I miss 9th grade art. I really liked that charcoal project. Oh well. I'm going to make something (hopefully) pretty. Wish me luck!

The Photoshop picture of the week is the original poster I made for Dance Company in full color. They had to print the ones you see on campus in black and white to save ink and the money it would cost to print in color. So yeah. Click to see a full preview. Enjoy!

Adios!

Musique

Thats how gaga spells it. I think it looks cool.

So hey. Sorry for not posting yesterday. No real theme for this most so yet again, random train of thoughts. Choo choo!

-I am angry. I want to watch House but I cannot because of the Chemistry Test.

-Cailyn, we will not die, we revised the schedule.

-Pens are annoying if they leak.

-Dance company is so much fun! The teacher's dance is so funny. Haha.

-Mika is my new musical love. For now.

-Anyone want to make me a CD? That would be ah-mayzing.

-Ellen your CD volume I will be coming Monday. If I can get the CD drive to work.

That's all for today, sorry SUPER lame post, but I need to study.

I will try to remember to post on my day. As we should all :0

I decided it's good to be spontaneous (like Harry :D) so I'm killing my sing out.

THROW IT AWAY. FORGET YESTERDAY. WE'LL MAKE THE GREAT ESCAPE. THEY WON'T HEAR A WORD. FACE IT. THEY DON'T KNOW US ANYWAY!

Yeah. So basically I am rocking to my ipod while studying for chem. The Great Escape was playing while I titled the post. So I might interject a song every once in a while. Or some lyrics. Yeahh...
That sums up my week I think. Singing loudly to music while doing work that I don't want to do. Yay.
At least there is music in this world.
Fill up my cup! MOZZLETOFF!
Sorry for the spelling error. Right.
Soccer ended yesterday :( Last game of the season vs. SAAS. I have two soccer goals in life:
1. This is a dream, not actually going to happen - score a goal ... like from a corner kick, and you are that defender waiting perfectly positioned for the fall that pops out... and you one touch back into the goal area, and somehow it ends up in goal. Yeah.
2. BEAT SAAS. Just once. That's all. Maybe senior year.

Yep. And now soccer is over and I don't know what to do with my life... I miss it sosososo much! We started making the soccer video today. <3
At least I have lax in the spring. CANNOT WAIT.
Except for some stubborn leaves... who didn't fall with the fall, and now they clatter and bang........... What about? What about everything? What about aeroplanes? and what about ships that drank the sea? [GOOD SONG - What About Everything by Carbon Leaf]
Well, time to go finish rocking out and studying.
Joke:
Knock Knock
(who's there?)
Borg!
(Borg who?)
BORG OUT OF MY MIND.
That sums up English today - Scarlet Letter movie was HELLA boring.
Okay, love you all. And I really miss soccer (in case you didn't get that)
Over and Out.
Cheers,
Ellen :)

=.= Long posting rant (ranting post?) tonight. Sorry 'bout that.

I can never help but cringe when a character in a Tv show or movie does something completely idiotic.  Its inevitable, even if i've seen it hundreds of times, or sometimes even if i understand where its coming from.  More often than not, it has something to do with a character's romantic interest.

In the movies, keeping the two main characters apart is a tactic to lengthen the ending.  That one final hurdle that will make you swoon if it can be pulled off just right.

In tv; it is the exact same thing.   Once the two main characters get together, its over.  The interest is gone because the angst, the tension, and the reason you watch in the first place is gone (You know you secretly watch for the couples and not what the actual show is about :D ).  They may carry on doing the same exact thing they have been doing for the has however many seasons, but the drama, the spark is gone.  I have experienced this in a recent development of [H]ouse where House and Cuddy are finally together. Since they eased off a mystery based show into a drama between the two, the shock of the sudden resolution is not good.  House, notorious for being an ass is now....completely out of character for the fans that have been watching for a long time.  It's no longer a show that keeps you on the edge of your seat from week to week.  the "problem" is resolved every single episode. The Writers of this show may continue to stretch out the show, but my interest will not really be peaked again unless they break up.  'tis the unfortunate fate of a duo that would be amazing together.

(    The first counter example i thought of for this was Friends.  Yes Rachel and Ross got together wayyy before it was over, but the show didn't seem centered around their characters alone, and the drama was kept up with their on again off again relationship style.  )

The entire reason for this rant is that i just recently watched the 100th episode of Bones.  In short, i understand the decision by the writers, but it was not pulled off well, and it was not good AT ALL.  I'm pisssssssssed off. MAJOR-LY-like.

Okay.  So Booth is in love with Brennan.  And she (though she has not said it, it is implied) loves him too.  He finally gets the balls to tell her, and she tells him that because she is be a scientist, it restricts her from believing they could work because of the lack of proof. or something... (yea, I thought crazy at first too, but once you get used to her character, its kind of grows on you) ANYWAYS.

she tells him she can't change

AND HE GIVES UP

JUST LIKE THAT. (<--  to make the beginning relevant, i cringed here)

alright.  No.  This would never happen.
If you love someone, and you have the guts to tell them, then you should not just take the first (HESITANT) no for an answer.  NEVER.  THIS IS NEVER JUSTIFIED.

Except in TV shows (:( ). because they want their shows to last, and if they get together in the series then there's no more angst or anything (admit is you really love the angst), and it dies a tv show death.

This would be sad....but I'm completely pissed on how the convo went. It started realllly well....then just kinda....went to hell. Seriously, the scene might not have been longer than 4 minutes.

But yea.  I guess this is a life lesson? Don't be like Episode 100 in Bones.  Make the person you love reject you more than just one halfhearted "I can't change".

IF
YOU
LOVE
SOMEONE
IT
(should be part of the definition but, it)
MEANS
YOU
DONT
WANT
THEM
TO
CHANGE!!!!!!!!
gah. XP

well, thats all i got for tonight, sorry if you didn't follow me at all....
