I guess I should post something, shouldn't I?

Yes, I should.

I don't have much to say. Here is a list:

Things to say:

1) I am doing my oral report in French class about Harry Potter.

2) I saw Dance Company last night. There were some really good dances and then there were some really bad dances. And then a couple in the middle.

3) I liked Shanti and Alexa's dance.

4) I have two pages of history paper complete.

5) I have zero pages of English essay complete.

6) I am in a mix of feeling too bad to eat and eating my feelings. It's blissful, because I have two lovers. One is Ben, the other is Jerry.

7) I am getting tested for ADD soon. Yep.

8) I am grounded again. Unless I have ADD because then that explains my grades? Hmm...

Dance Co.!

Since tonight is the Dance Company opening night, I figured I would go and support all my fellow dancers, as well as see the faculty dance. It's going to be a blast- you guys should all try and make a point of going.

Today has also been a very unproductive yet relaxing day. I did my English homework, yes, but nothing else. I know I should be working on my APUSH and English papers but... you know, there's the whole weekend to work, right? So instead I watched an episode of Project Runway online, looked up some patterns for pumpking carving (I'm doing it tomorrow, and still not sure what to carve into my pumpkin. Any ideas? leave a comment please!), and watched some mindless tv while playing around in Photoshop. Yeah, that was my epic Friday. Oh well. At least I got to eat some mac and cheese. That was delicious. And I got a giant pixie stix. That rocked too. hehe.

I feel really creative right now. I think I'm going to go draw something... like maybe a picture of a gazelle! Yes, I will go look for pictures of gazelles. Or flip through my National Geographic magazines... I miss 9th grade art. I really liked that charcoal project. Oh well. I'm going to make something (hopefully) pretty. Wish me luck!

The Photoshop picture of the week is the original poster I made for Dance Company in full color. They had to print the ones you see on campus in black and white to save ink and the money it would cost to print in color. So yeah. Click to see a full preview. Enjoy!

Adios!

Musique

Thats how gaga spells it. I think it looks cool.

So hey. Sorry for not posting yesterday. No real theme for this most so yet again, random train of thoughts. Choo choo!

-I am angry. I want to watch House but I cannot because of the Chemistry Test.

-Cailyn, we will not die, we revised the schedule.

-Pens are annoying if they leak.

-Dance company is so much fun! The teacher's dance is so funny. Haha.

-Mika is my new musical love. For now.

-Anyone want to make me a CD? That would be ah-mayzing.

-Ellen your CD volume I will be coming Monday. If I can get the CD drive to work.

That's all for today, sorry SUPER lame post, but I need to study.

I will try to remember to post on my day. As we should all :0

I decided it's good to be spontaneous (like Harry :D) so I'm killing my sing out.

BALALA
BYE
>Kylieee

THROW IT AWAY. FORGET YESTERDAY. WE'LL MAKE THE GREAT ESCAPE. THEY WON'T HEAR A WORD. FACE IT. THEY DON'T KNOW US ANYWAY!

Yeah. So basically I am rocking to my ipod while studying for chem. The Great Escape was playing while I titled the post. So I might interject a song every once in a while. Or some lyrics. Yeahh...
That sums up my week I think. Singing loudly to music while doing work that I don't want to do. Yay.
At least there is music in this world.
Fill up my cup! MOZZLETOFF!
Sorry for the spelling error. Right.
Soccer ended yesterday :( Last game of the season vs. SAAS. I have two soccer goals in life:
1. This is a dream, not actually going to happen - score a goal ... like from a corner kick, and you are that defender waiting perfectly positioned for the fall that pops out... and you one touch back into the goal area, and somehow it ends up in goal. Yeah.
2. BEAT SAAS. Just once. That's all. Maybe senior year.

Yep. And now soccer is over and I don't know what to do with my life... I miss it sosososo much! We started making the soccer video today. <3
At least I have lax in the spring. CANNOT WAIT.
Except for some stubborn leaves... who didn't fall with the fall, and now they clatter and bang........... What about? What about everything? What about aeroplanes? and what about ships that drank the sea? [GOOD SONG - What About Everything by Carbon Leaf]
Well, time to go finish rocking out and studying.
Joke:
Knock Knock
(who's there?)
Borg!
(Borg who?)
BORG OUT OF MY MIND.
That sums up English today - Scarlet Letter movie was HELLA boring.
Okay, love you all. And I really miss soccer (in case you didn't get that)
Over and Out.
Cheers,
Ellen :)

=.= Long posting rant (ranting post?) tonight. Sorry 'bout that.

I can never help but cringe when a character in a Tv show or movie does something completely idiotic.  Its inevitable, even if i've seen it hundreds of times, or sometimes even if i understand where its coming from.  More often than not, it has something to do with a character's romantic interest.

In the movies, keeping the two main characters apart is a tactic to lengthen the ending.  That one final hurdle that will make you swoon if it can be pulled off just right.

In tv; it is the exact same thing.   Once the two main characters get together, its over.  The interest is gone because the angst, the tension, and the reason you watch in the first place is gone (You know you secretly watch for the couples and not what the actual show is about :D ).  They may carry on doing the same exact thing they have been doing for the has however many seasons, but the drama, the spark is gone.  I have experienced this in a recent development of [H]ouse where House and Cuddy are finally together. Since they eased off a mystery based show into a drama between the two, the shock of the sudden resolution is not good.  House, notorious for being an ass is now....completely out of character for the fans that have been watching for a long time.  It's no longer a show that keeps you on the edge of your seat from week to week.  the "problem" is resolved every single episode. The Writers of this show may continue to stretch out the show, but my interest will not really be peaked again unless they break up.  'tis the unfortunate fate of a duo that would be amazing together.

(    The first counter example i thought of for this was Friends.  Yes Rachel and Ross got together wayyy before it was over, but the show didn't seem centered around their characters alone, and the drama was kept up with their on again off again relationship style.  )

The entire reason for this rant is that i just recently watched the 100th episode of Bones.  In short, i understand the decision by the writers, but it was not pulled off well, and it was not good AT ALL.  I'm pisssssssssed off. MAJOR-LY-like.

Okay.  So Booth is in love with Brennan.  And she (though she has not said it, it is implied) loves him too.  He finally gets the balls to tell her, and she tells him that because she is be a scientist, it restricts her from believing they could work because of the lack of proof. or something... (yea, I thought crazy at first too, but once you get used to her character, its kind of grows on you) ANYWAYS.

she tells him she can't change

AND HE GIVES UP

JUST LIKE THAT. (<--  to make the beginning relevant, i cringed here)

alright.  No.  This would never happen.
If you love someone, and you have the guts to tell them, then you should not just take the first (HESITANT) no for an answer.  NEVER.  THIS IS NEVER JUSTIFIED.

Except in TV shows (:( ). because they want their shows to last, and if they get together in the series then there's no more angst or anything (admit is you really love the angst), and it dies a tv show death.

This would be sad....but I'm completely pissed on how the convo went. It started realllly well....then just kinda....went to hell. Seriously, the scene might not have been longer than 4 minutes.

But yea.  I guess this is a life lesson? Don't be like Episode 100 in Bones.  Make the person you love reject you more than just one halfhearted "I can't change".

IF
YOU
LOVE
SOMEONE
IT
(should be part of the definition but, it)
MEANS
YOU
DONT
WANT
THEM
TO
CHANGE!!!!!!!!
gah. XP

well, thats all i got for tonight, sorry if you didn't follow me at all....

Nathalia: I'm still posting today, sorry :)

I know I posted yesterday as well, but oh well. I think we should be able to post REALLY important things (or just really pertinent things) that are not on our day.

It's Saturday and I am sitting in the Mercer Island community center. Here is a list of things happening.

1) My Ke$ha costume parts came yesterday and I am 5/8 done with getting the pieces!

2) I just finished my LAST driver's ed class and drive thank God.

3) The magazine came that my photo was published in but the colors got skewed up. Great.

4) My sissy is thirteen today! Can you believe it?

5) I have officially started writing my AP paper. I have about six lines. I have to have a finished rough draft if I want to make plans on Halloween. It's going to be a loooong week.

Katie's Weekly Challenge: Start your AP paper.

Song of the Week: Animal by Neon Trees. And your Love Is My Drug by Ke$ha.

KE$HA. OH MY FREAKING GOD!

(Some kids behind me are playing on Club Penguin... haha)

Katie ---> out. MWAH.

I figured...

Since it's Saturday, but Katie posted yesterday, that I would post my friday post today, if that's all right with everyone.
Who's going to the Open House today? I am. For choir though. Which takes a chunk out of my weekend that I could be doing homework. Oh well, whatevs. Anyway... I'm listening to Owl City right now. I really love their techno beats for background music- it always makes me just slightly more happy and optimistic than when I listen to other music.
I also just finished voting with my dad. It was... uneventful. Every time I saw another initiative, I kept thinking about those stupid commercials on tv. Speaking of which, you should check out this commercial (below) about America's future. It was pretty interesting, and kind of scary at the same time.

And for the Photoshop image of the week:

Note: this is not a real picture. It was rendered in Photoshop :)

Have a great weekend!

The Scarlet Cupcake

Drama Tech was great (once again)....I painted the background thingy with Satomi and Sarah- only I had to use a ladder to paint because I was too short :I. Meanwhile, Nathalia and Cailyn made "sandwich" props....a.k.a a piece of foam covered in brown scraps. It's quite appetizing :)

Ha. Not really.

Anyways, I came home and realized my family was making cupcakes for my sister's carnival tomorrow........about 70 CUPCAKES!!!! 70 paper cups of SHEER JOY AND HAPPINESS. It was heaven- I was surrounded by all sorts of cupcakes! There were chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet!!! And lots of SPRINKLES! Of dinosaurs and stars and dots and all sorts of wonderful miniature bodies of sugar!!!! EUREKA!

Yeah, so y'all might be wondering where the above title came from....

I was sitting with my wonderful cucpakes and my sister picks one up and says "Sissy, look at this Scarlet Cupcake!"

AND THEN A EUREKA MOMENT HAPPENED IN MY HEAD!

I was like "Cupcake! Scarlet! Letter! Geraghty! English Class! Eureka!"= my thought process

...English class was great today- lots of analyzing/finding the meaning of EACH sentence of EACH chapter. It's quite a brilliant book, ya know- even though it can be "creepy".

Anyways, I thought you would all like to hear my Scarlet Cupcake Eureka Moment. So there it was....O_o

Oh btw, I'm going to the Vball game tmrw...anyone care to join? :)

I'd love to continue writing, but my mother just told my sister- "I hate dealing with little people."

I need to go correct that statement and defend the little people of the world.

I WILL RETURN! DO NOT FEAR! (hehe- that's what a hero would say)

Faceshkinbergers

1. I apologize if I spelled the title wrong (you'll have to ask Katie for the correct spelling)
2. Today was draining
3. I have nearly NO HOMEWORK tonight! SCORE
4. ...if only we could do that in a soccer game
5. YOU SHOULD COME WATCH if you live near Starfire.... which you probably don't
6. We could win
7. One problem
8. Walt's a ding
9. He enacted the "you didn't tell me" law for Nicole, who we actually need at the game tomorrow and not for some other people who are not nearly as important
10. I am so hungry

Well, there's a list. lets go over some of it.
1. Faceshkinbergers is what happens if you get hit in the face with a soccer ball... so far its happened three times this season! How weird is that? Am I just in the wrong place at the right time? ..Or the right place at the wrong time? Or the wrong place and the wrong time? I don't know. Anyway.
2. APUSH test and other stuff (like not having breakfast :/) made me very drained. ...yeah...
3. I AM GOING TO CATCH UP ON GLEE because I didn't write last weeks. Oops I mean read. DANG I mean watch. Sorry... as I said, kinda out of it.
4. Eh... I don't feel like explaining anything anymore. I want dinnnnnner! :D

JOKE:
Did you hear about the cat who swallowed a ball of yarn?

track 17

Isn't that annoying when a really good song on your ipod is playing and the title is track 17 with no artist or album? So you don't what what it is...yeah
Well I don't what what to title this post so there you go.
I have a lot of homework this week. 31 flashcards in theology...great.
And I have to read the scarlet letter but it is only 12 pages so that isn't too bad.
This weekend was fun! Natasha (remember her, that girl that used to go to our school but maybe you forgot because she NEVER VISITS *hint hint if she reads this*) yeah she and I went on a photo shoot because as the facebook album says, Kylie needed a portrait. and I'm super happy with them. I really want more so if you want to go on a photo shoot with me and get some pictures that are fabulous (only not but whatever :P) then you should definitely call me. And I need money so I'll charge based on donation. no less then a dollar. I am going to be rich.

only not.

I'm wearing my fuzzy Christmas fleece penguin pajamas! yay!

My mom bought me a truffle shaped like an owl today. It's super adorable.
I love my moms. They rock.
Haha so today we were talking about gay marriage in history and someone was like:
-well is the Christian religion says they shouldn't be married then they should respect that and get married somewhere outside of the church.
my question: Shouldn't humans define their religion instead of their religion defining them, specifically restricting their right to marry whoever they love?
Leave comments :)

yeah. so that was great.

what else. oh I want a mac. they are pretty.

well I should go study for theology/read/call Rachel.
Love you all-ways! (get it.)

Ciao! *K

Uhm. Why am i posting right now?

The title of this post completely sums up my life right now.  The

Bad: terrible weekend as far as socializing with other humans.... :) haha that sounds weird
Good: watching my favorite movie in the cosmos proves to be an EXCELLENT therapeutic device

Annnyways.  The theme for this week, dun dun dun duuun.  is DRAGONS!!
All of us that are worthy of claiming one (meaning they have seen the movie)  are going to claim their dragon this week!!!! YAY!!! (this is mostly due to the fact that the people who haven't seen it probably don't know what the different dragons are, when they have seen the movie they can have one :)  )

moving onnnn

My dragon will be a Night fury!!  specifically a "descendent" of Toothless. Technically my dragon is Toothless, but ya know, the whole multiple lives theory.... XD.

yea, sorry if that didn't make any sense...and yes i am aware of how nerdy that is....

A Short Post That Became Longer

So, I'm sad.

This guy I know is going to homecoming... and I'm at home... and that's depressing...

Anyways. I am helping Megan with her Halloween costume. She's Lady Gaga.

I am going to be Ke$ha. Basically, I'm the trashier, less creative version of my sister.

Joy.

I have TOO MUCH to do this weekend. I am swamped.

But I am excited for Monday! Game against Cedar Park... woohoo...

--------------------

Today it's Sunday and I have things to say.

What took place to day:

12:00-2:00
----->I took my written driver's exam.

2:30-4:30
----->I took the make up class in which I review for the written driver's exam.

SOME CRAZY HAPPENINGS, AM I RIGHT?

It doesn't make sense. Legalities suck.

Anyways, I officially have 3/7 parts of my Halloween costume acquired and complete: my shirt, my jacket, and my pants. Now I need to rip some nylons and buy some shoes. Parts 6-7, hair and make-up, will be completed the day of. I CANNOT WAIT.

It's Friday! And that means...

How To Train Your Dragon came out today!!! I watched it with Cailyn earlier :) If you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely must! It's such a cute movie - definitely one of my favorites :D . Let's see... what else. We've had a pretty relxaing week, and other than a few tests, not much HW to do. I think next week is going to be harder though :( Well anyway's... did anyone see CSI last night? It was pretty creepy! And didn't you think about Spiderman 3's venom when you saw that guy? Major creepo. Well I gtg - it's time for Smallville! It's the 200th episode too. Yeah that's right. 200TH! It's the 10th year of production and the last season :( but it's still a great show.

Oh, and here's the Photoshop picture of the week:

CALLING ALL SOPHOMORES (aka 2013)

Hi! I can't find the "change font button" so you'll have to deal with this boring one.
Anywho.

CALLING ALL SOPHOMORES
Are you tired of being the grade that misses out on everything?
>No Orkilla
>No Service
>No Good Retreats (frosh went to rope course? wtf were we doing in a basement?)
Or (even if it might turn out well) has to deal with stuff for the first time?
>IB
If you oppose any of the above (not necessarily IB... you know what I mean with that) then you should join the REBELLION!
Nathalia et Moi (et Kelly) asked Segall for advice on starting our own Sophomore Reformation (aka 2013 Rebellion).
He said we need
1. Solidarity or Unity
So we need to join together!
Let Nathalia and I know what you think! Hahaha.
Anyway, post if you like.
Do homework if you need.
Sleep when you can.
Au revoir!
Over and Out.
Cheers,
Ellen :)

Tuesday-only-not-really

Hey! sorry I didn't post yesterday--
I stayed home from school. Spent the day doing homework, hanging out on facebook, and catching up on episode 3 of house.

the laundry machine is making scary noises...

So yeah. that was my day. Oh and i still have a 100 fever. it's not bad but still...

short post today because technically it isn't my day to post

cailyn make up your mind on what dog you want for sure :)

I figured something out today: there are only two normal ish people in House: Cuddy and 13. Reasoning:
House=jerk/addict (sometimes)
Foreman=wimp/idiot
Chase=dating hookers/killed a guy
Cameron=too much of a sugar plum
Wilson=confused
Taub=cheats on his wife
Sam=creepy

Hence: Cuddy and 13 are the normal ones...ish. And all in all a great show that teaches superb values. Only not.
If you don't watch House then you should. It's on hulu. Kay bye.

Ciao! *K

Guess who is in a good mood!!!

Oh goodness, I hurt. I kicked the ball at the same time as this freshman (who is freaking AMAZING, mind you) and mow my shin feels like someone is carving statues out of it. Gah.

But GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

I started. In a game. As a FORWARD!

I have never played forward though. But I didn't do as badly as I thought I would.

I love soccer right now.

This weekend has been fun because I am NOT GROUNDED because it consists of FOUR DAYS. Woohoo.

I have driver's ed though, which basically is French for boredom.

Or maybe it's Latin.

Or Greek.

All English words come from Greek, did you know? Even Kimono.
