Lately, I've been thinking a lot about how we always say that Forest Ridge doesn't have the same drama that public schools have, and I've been starting to disagree.

Have you ever noticed that we talk about our problems with each other all the time while over an Instant Messaging system, yet we never actually talk about them face to face, and often pretend that they don't exist at all.

I feel like we're different people online as opposed to off, like we feel safety in the fact that we don't actually have to say things to other people directly.

The next day, we pretend nothing's wrong, and that we're all just as tightly knit as ever...

Our Drama is in the fact that we don't seem comfortable enough with each other to be able to face each other.

Is it just me that is bothered by this?  I think this is something to work on, because this is making me miserable quite frankly, and if this is the level of communication our generation is going to grow up with, then we're going suffer, and that's the reality of it.

So, if you are feeling this and want to talk the "old-fashioned" way, I'm very up to it.  Don't bother commenting, ill guess ill just find out the response to this tomorrow...?

Today I Do Not Have To Study

I just have to do homework, and too much of it. Hey guys, we made it through April without missing a single day! Congrats to us all! Anyway sorry I have lame posts, but its Wednesday, aka the middle of the week, aka I don't have much time to say a lot of stuff.
Lacrosse is over, so sad :( Super fun last game though, but I wish it hadn't ended. On the other hand, it means summer is closer! Which also means soccer is closer, and I can't wait. I love playing sports. I want it to be soccer season.

Hi I'm really tired

I took an SAT this morning that required that I wake up at 6:20 in the morning and now I'm tired and my brain is melting.

I also ate a lot today like a McDonald's breakfast and cookie dough and a cookie and oatmeal and some toast.

And I am really tired and just like not functioning well so Katie is not a happy camper because her stomach hurts from lack of anything healthy besides oatmeal and brain power and I have pre-calculus to do and that's a shame.

So... it's over.

Yes. APUSH is over. Relief. Except for that SAT II Subject test tomorrow. But that's gonna be a piece of cake compared to today. It's only multiple choice. I'm going to cream that sucker. :D Actually the test wasn't that bad. It just made my hand hurt :(

Also, tonight is the second to last episode of Smallville. Ever. Because it ends next Friday with the two hour series finale :(. I practically grew up with this show since it aired 10 years ago, and I will be quite sad when I can no longer watch it, because it is totally awesome and got really good this last season. Sigh.

Also, apparently Ms. Hinkley is coming back on Tuesday.

Procrastination of the Hazed

That's right, I should be studying... BUT I'M NOT. C'est la vie, non?

APUSH exam is in 6 days. Am I nervous? Yes. Do I have my doubts? Yes. Am I going to kick this test in its 5 point total ass? HELL YES.

Softball is frustrating and amazing. It's frustrating because we lose. And I want to win. I REALLY want to win. I walk on the field with determination and then we just fall on our faces (rarely literally) and I don't know how to change it. We're not going to play offs. I guess we have to give the next week and a half the best we've ever given.

HOWEVER.

Softball is also amazing. I love the girls. They are so funny. And so, so cruel.

In other words, we got hazed.

Yesterday night was probably the most fun I've had in a really long time. After the game, we were gathered in a circle, and Sydney shoved a sweatshirt over my head and literally threw me into a car. They drove me around Bellevue, went to Jamba Juice, and forced me to drink grass root juice. Then we went to Bell Square, and they dressed me up in crazy clothes. I had to ask four guys for their numbers in order to eat, and then propose to another guy in order to take a shower. It was such a funny night, especially when Bea had a bad habit of accidentally asking middle schoolers... hahahahahaha.

I have to go study now. BYEE.

Hey Everyone! So first of all, happy Friday. Secondly, congrats to everyone who ran for a class officer position. You all had amazing campaigns and put so much thought and effort into running.

You know, it's really hard to write this post right now, with Kylie, Amy Claire, and Cailyn in the library. Craziness has ensued. We are holding some interesting conversations...

I'm so excited for the weekend. Relaxation, in some quantity, at last.

... I'm not sure what else I'm gonna say. This week has been just... bland I guess. No true high or lows. Except for the constant rescheduling and stress over tests. Ugh. Whatevs.

We're almost to the end of school guys! in 41 days we are OUTTA HERE! I'm actually very excited for this summer. I'm getting a job at a coffee shop in Friday Harbor, on the island, and then volunteering as an usher/set painter on days off! So excited! Maybe I'll pick up some cute island boy :) haha. ok just watched glee.
Kurt and Blaine are adorable. Like, hands down best couple on the show. I' know I'm biased, but still. And I know that I've said that before but with each episode I love them even more. If that's even possible.
Which brings me to be my next point.
Do. Not. Hate. On. Kurt. I know the preview looked bad, but THE EPISODE IS CALLED RUMORS FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. listen.
1) Kurt is the most honest, loyal, sweet, and good person on the show. he would NEVER do that. we know that. Kurt is not going to suddenly become some cheating jerk. he can't. he won't. then he wouldn't be Kurt. Kurt is sweet, honest, loyal, and just good. he would never ever do that.

2) i honestly don't think Sam would do that. Sam is a nice, sweet guy, and i don't think he is the cheating type. it is also gonna be rumored in the episode that he is cheating with Quinn, but i don't even think that would happen.i could see Quinn doing it, but i honestly don't think Sam would let anything happen, cause he is a good guy, and he knows that it would be wrong and hurt Finn. so i don't think cheating is something Sam would do.

3) Sam isn't gay! come on! Chord has already said that he is uncomfortable doing that, and even if, Sam as a character is too developed now to just randomly make him gay one day. i highly doubt that that would happen.

4) the episode is called Rumors. it is just gonna be some stupid rumor, and like most rumors, turn out to be a huge misunderstanding, and just a simple, innocent thing.

5) this is kinda important! KURT LOVES BLAINE! he would never do anything to hurt Blaine, nor would he ever cheat, because he has no reason to. Kurt is in love with Blaine, no one else. and he is with Blaine, so what more could he want. there is no reason for it. Kurt is dating the person that he loves, and he isn't going to cheat, because he has who he wants. we have to have faith in their relationship. they love each other, and stupid things like cheating would make no sense with them. this is the most important thing. we know that Kurt loves him, more then he has ever loved anyone else (still don't think he ever truly loved Finn, just a crush) and he is not going to hurt Blaine, or do anything that would put his relationship with the man he loves in danger. we must have faith in their love.

6) we know that Kurt and Blaine are not breaking up, and that  they are going to prom together so there is nothing to worry about.

7) as has already been said, this is prolly just something that is meant to freak us Klaine shippers out, and in the end, silence all the Skurt shippers. this will prolly be the proof that they will NEVER  happen, as has already been said on here. nothing bad is gonna happen to our Klaine.


I coped that from online, but the texts I sent to Cailyn right after I saw that in an effort not to be beaten up tomorrow proves I was thinking the same thing.
Here's another idea.
This is huge. I mean, if he did cheat (which he didn't). Rachel's nose job was headlines on spoilers like a month ago. Honestly don't you think that if he did cheat that would be ALL OVER THE INTERNET LIKE, AT LEAST A WEEK AGO? Here's the deal. The spoilers DO say we find out something about Sam. What if it's his mother. Like if she died, and then Kurt is the only one ho knows what he would be going through. PLUS episode 21 is called FUNERAL. just saying. ok that's enough for now. I'm sure you'll hear all about it from Cailyn and I tomorrow. No doubt.

Today was a good day.

The title says it.

I mean, today wasn't the greatest day EVER, but it did have its quirks.

oh gosh. it's 11:14 p.m.

anyways.....First, bread service was pretty good. (haha Segall and Hsieh) the retreat was even better. I don't really have time to "reflect" on it because it's late, but I really love you all and had a fun time. Our class is awesomeeee. Oh, kudos to Katie and Sneha for being supa talented at playing the guitar/violin.

Second, math wasn't too harsh anybody today...was it? I heard about Hsieh's test and people seemed "alright" on it- so good luck on those! And for our math class, our test grades were finally posted and it looks like we all didn't do too bad....:) yay us.

umm...what else? oh. our campus minister and MS dean of students are crazyyyy. Let's just say we had a very "nice" talk today after school. We were talking about Harry Potter and this is what our conclusion was: Campus Minister= Hufflepuff. And guess what Mrs. B's house is? Wellllll.....she swears she's in the "Huffledore" house......whaaaat? ponder that, people.

Glee etcetera etcetera

So here's the deal. I have been gleeless for about a month. I've been stuck reading fanfiction (which is amazing but of course, never can live up to the notes from 'baby it's cold outside' or the 'you move me, Kurt' line.) and mindlessly surfing the web for anything I can find relating to said show. When i herd it wasn't airing until the 19th instead of the 12th, at first I was hella angry, but then I figured if they were making us wait one more week it must be worth it.

The End is Near!

Ok, so the title of this post is for several reasons. First of all, the wait is almost over for new Glee episodes! Yay! Secondly, Smallville is back! But there are only three episodes left until the series finale, which makes me sad :( I can't believe the show has been on for 10 years. I've basically grown up watching it, and now it's almost over. It's like a part of my childhood will be lost :( Sigh. This post also applies to the school year; school's almost out. (Manion said we only have 24 more class days left!!!). I feel like I've been using too many exclamation marks in this post already... So then this post can also refer to the fact that APUSH AP exam is coming up, and our time of studying is almost up. Actually, we've pretty much finished learning material. On to review time. (I was about to put an exclamation mark there, but refused the urge to. I'm also noticing this is quite a chunk of text...)

There. That's better. What else is new in life? OH. I'm really excited for our bread retreat! GAH. I did it again. But that was necessary. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to working with my partner to bake delicious bread. Hopefully we won't fail and it will be the best bread ever. I've never mde bread, so this will be quite a challenge.

You know, I still have to design my mole for chem. It's all finished, but I just haven't themed it yet. Sigh. I totally loved how today in chem class Dr. Segall used Katie and Jennifer's mole as a white board eraser. I just sat there silently laughing, trying really hard to compose myself. And the thing is that he did it more than once, so I had to keep myself in check multiple times. Lols. It was great. And the mole survived, so it all worked out.

So this weekend I'm going to try and work on my campaign for Sec./Treas. I'll let you know how that went on Monday :] I have to write my speech, and I have so many ideas, I have no clue which one to pick. Hopefully my campaign will amaze you all - I've got a secret weapon (*ominous smile, wink*) Elections are going to be tough this year, with so many good candidates running. Well, with our class, that'll happen just about every election... You know what, I'm using ellipses too much. Moving on.

the 'right' guy

So.  We've all felt the frustration when you're reading a really good book, and the main character absolutely refuses to see what a terrible choice she makes between the guy she wants (gsw) and the guy she likes to avoid (gslta).  

I myself end up putting (throwing) away the book and go online to try and find a lovely fanfiction that has the couples written down so I know exactly what to expect. 

WELL.

I have recently had a run in of my own and can now say that I know exactly the feeling where you just CANNOT accept that the gslta (the idiot) is really....cool.  It's because he really isn't.  But I can totally see how the gsw is also the wrong person for her.

(To be completely understood, I'm not saying that I'm going to change my mind about him (either one), I'm just defending the fact that even if hes sweet/seems to be in love with you, that does not exclude him from creeper-dom.) Moving on...

SO.  Anyways.  

Theres GSW -- you know he's bad for you.  he's hurt you in the past, it'll happen again, like its his MO.  All you do is flirt with each other, there's nothing other than that to suggest that he may like you or that you could possibly have a surviving relationship, but you still think he's awesome even thought you have no way of telling since you really don't have any (normal) guy friends to compare him against.  So basically every time you talk you're left wondering what the hell happened, and if anything would finally change because of the changes from that conversation to the one before.  and every time you want to hate him, you feel more disappointed in yourself for just thinking that anything could or should change. this is basically what's going on for me right now.

Then theres GSLTA.....-- hes never even been considered a crush.  it's obvious that he likes you, and yet you cannot feel anything for him because of the way he acts.  Like An Idiot.  To give him the benefit of the doubt, you know that you act like an idiot when you are around one of your crushes...but this is just insane.  To people who only briefly meet him, he would seem sweet, or just trying to make you laugh.  But since he never succeeds, it gets old fast.  He's completely socially inept and you have no idea how to politely let him down, so you avoid, or try to discourage him through your attitude.  

So, you're stuck with these two guys who you know you really shouldn't be with, both because you know you would end up miserable.  Dramatic Irony - where you know something the characters don't - is something greatly present in many books.  It shows how the best friend or geek figure would be the perfect boyfriend but she can't tell.  

She can't tell because she doesn't feel the same way...and though it makes for a terrible story, it's terribly common in real life.  Pining over someone, or humoring someone?  

Yeah.  This was meant for those two guys to read it and actually understand what's going on in my head and how it's bugging the hell out of me...but what can i say?  I lack the courage?  I'll take what I can get and I don't want this to ruin our (kinda sorta) friendships? think what you want.

I do ask, that if you know who I'm talking about, that you do not mention their names in any comments or whatever because, if I ever do tell them about what goes down in my head, this would be the wrong way for them to finally get the message.

If we're on the subject of pet peeves, mine is when I'm having a perfectly good day ad then someone or something happens and it's ruined. Like yesterday. I was having a great day with Megan, my best friend came over, and then my mom decided it would be a great time to give me another talk about applying myself and dedication. Absolute bull shit.

I've come to wonder if maybe the people who piss us off most in the world are actually right and I'm the one who needs to rethink situation. Maybe sometimes people are just so biased that they will never ever see the world from another's point of view.

This AP exam is stressing me out. It's in three weeks. I'm screwed. I had a panic attack slash mental breakdown about it today (not helped by my ever so enthusiastic mother). Sometimes I feel like this kinds of things shouldn't be mentioned on the internet. Who reads this anyways?

Whatever. I will survive. I will study and PASS THIS TEST. My goal is to get at least a 4. I think that's doable.

I want my grade on my research paper...

Hey everyone sorry for posting so late. Posting from my phone right now so this will be short.

Hope everyone enjoyed their week off. I know I accomplished a lot. Just thinking ahead ... We have less than a month until the AP exam. Ahhh!!! Mini freak out. Ok, I'm an awful person for bringing that up... Nevermind.

There are some really annoying crickets chirping outside my window, making it hard to fall asleep. Grr. Shut up crickets. Play your music somewhere else. I wish a chameleon would eat you. Bwahahaa! That makes me think of pascal from the movie Tangled. I love that movie!!! Just bought the soundtrack to it today :)



Ugh! Now there is a frog outside making its loud ribbit noises! Grr. Maybe it ate the crickets... Hehe.

Pet Peeves

Ok i know I already did this post a while back, but i have two new ones to add to my list:
1) When i cannot see the food I am eating (like it's too dark in the room)
2) the game rook.
Catherine and I just spend an hour trying to learn this game. the directions were super confusing and it didn't make sense at all. Here's part of the directions:

Bidding: players bid for the privilege of choosing a trump card. there is a great advantage of being the player who chooses the trump color. since a trump card can capture any other card of any other color. your opening bid must be at least 70 points. bids must be divisible by 5 such as 70, 75, 80. you are bidding the number of points from counters you think you and your partner will be able to capture with your hands provided you are able to name the color that will be trump. if you captured all counters you would score 120 points. You should remember there is always a risk when you take that bid!

Well, I don't know if any of you (other than Porcelain...most likely)  know this, but it's apparently blog every day April or something, so, to reference one of kylie's posts we should all post every week of April.  (it shouldn't be that hard, its only 4 in a row)  So, to start --

Okay so fate -- or what could have happened

To be truthful, I've been thinking a lot about what i would be like if I went to Tyee instead of FR.  For example, would Sherman have had cause to be surprised by my "little girl voice"  or would that have faded over time?

Would I have the same opinions as i do now? Would the things I hate be something I can't live without?  Would I have the same problems?  Would I have the same pressures?  Would I understand other people better or worse?

These are the types of things I've been wondering about recently just because I've been wondering if I actually should have ended up at Forest Ridge.  Sometimes, I've even wondered so much as to think that i may have been happier if it turned out some other way.  Maybe I'm insane, dwelling on the past isn't healthy, but i've always kind of sort of believed in fate, but now, I'm not so sure.

This is probably brought on by the whole IB ordeal.  It started with "how prepared will i really be if im not interested in math or science", and it's grown into this giant thing that im constantly thinking about.  For example, My mother is always talking about how my brother only knows what he wants to do because newport had a BUNCH of electives he could take, and 1)  we've basically been cheated out of all our electives, and 2)  we don't have that many that aren't directly related to learning something.   I'll never have that chance.  i've signed the contract that binds me to Junior Year at FR and, since we're going through IB, I've basically said that I will be coming back senior year as well.  If I had gone to Newport, or even International, would I know what I want to be when they grew up?

Is there something I have a passion for, but I've never even heard of it?

But seriously, what would be different?  About my life?  about what I wanted?  About who i am?

SPRING BREAK!!!

It's Spring Break everyone!

Huzzah! We've made it through this week seemingly unscathed. Through the late nights, tests, quizzes, papers, we have survived. And now it's time to celebrate!

Currently in the lounge again, listening to a very interesting conversation between Bailey and Rasika about numbers. Makes you think...

Anyways. What are you guys all doing during Sprink Break? Going anywhere exciting (if you haven't left already)? Tell about your exciting adventures! It can make up for the lack of ours, for the people who are staying home during vacation. Ah well, we'll have fun anyways.

But what's up with this weather?! I seriously hope that it brightens up. I know, I know, April showers bring May flowers, but can we just have a little sun now and again? Rain rain go away...

Nothing too serious to post about in light of our vaction time. Just relax and have a good break!

Also, the Photoshop Picture of the week! It's a really awesome pattern on a door on the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. I really boosted the copper colors in the picture and did a ton of sharpening to get the edges of the metal to reflect in the edited version. I've decided that from now on I'm going to try and post the before and after versions of a picture that I've edited so you can really see and appreciate the difference and the hard work I put into the final results of my pictures :)

One More Day Til' BREAK!

I'm in fitness class right now. We just got assigned the paper/workout chart...yuck. Oh well. I don't really want to write a paper, but the chart sounds pretty fun. Don't know how I'll do it yet...but it'll be nice to have a workout during the day.

Congratulations! You made it half way through the week! Only a few days left to go before Spring Break? Do you have any fun plans? I'm going to Canada and going skiing (:D) and then later playing lax with Kel and Lindsay hopefully. We have a game the day we get back from break... urrg sounds fun :P
Anyway I need to finish my history essay (just a few minor and final corrections then I'm done - yayyy!) My essay's on the Space Race. I read a joke in one of the books about the race, and it made me laugh but I don't know that the rest of you will. It was in the time period where the Soviet Union was way ahead the US, even though the US was trying to catch up and land a man on the moon.

Q: What will American's find on the moon?

A: The Russians!

So it was apparently a popular joke at the time. I actually laughed... anyyyywayyyy

How's spring going for you guys? I love spring sports! Lax is the best! I'm having a blast!

Oh and let's just clarify something with the Softball vs. Lax conflict -
1. I love softballer's and I love it when you win
2. I make fun of you guys but not because I actually hate you, and not because I'm jealous - just for fun :)
3. It really bothers me when people say "how can you hate a sport that wins?" because a) I don't hate you, and b) we win too okay?
4. I don't really have a problem with you guys, and I know that most of you guys don't really have a problem with us - just a few people bothered me recently. This post probably doesn't apply to you, but you know... whatever.
I really don't care when we make fun of each other, I just can't stand it when people get way to serious about it. I don't mind the banter or whatever... but leave it at that.
(PS - skirts are stupid, but that doesn't make lax an easy sport - just because there are lots of calls doesn't mean its not aggressive. Just thought I should clear that up)

On a brighter note, I got the horseshoe in softball! It is given to a player after every game who did well... and now I feel really good about this because my game on Thursday absolutely terribly.

Aghh. I really do not have the motivation to do work.

I got banned from watching TV on week days until sports are over. This kind of sucks.

I Have Expanded My Horizon

Hello Everyone, Happy Friday!!!

I have expanded my horizons today at BC. How about you? I personally learned a lot and had a ton of fun. The classes were interesting and definitely gave me something to think about regarding the field I want to go into the future.

How about this weather? I thought it was going to rain today, but it's so sunny and warm right now. Cailyn and I are going to go and lie in the grass now. It's going to be great.

You know what you guys should check out? This really adorable game called ilomilo, for the Xbox and Windows Phone. I learned about it in my video game class this morning. So yeah.

So, this week has been.....alright. I think.

We formed an ANOMIA League :) So that's cool.

Today was bootcamp in fitness. I'll probably be sore tomorrow and Cailyn......well, she'll probably just die. Her deltoids hurt. #justsayin'

OH. We had french today and we made a video for a project. The video was basically us (Cailyn and I) being expert "voleurs" and kidnapping stuff. It was fun to make and hopefully Madame enjoyed it. It was kind of awkward though in class. Dr. Wittmann was there to observe and her expression on her face was priceless. I honestly don't know what she thought of it.

Okay so I'm in the library and some Middle Schooler is playing FRIDAY. hahah bonus. On our way to service today, we (Amy, Kylie, and I) decided we should remake that song and make a video. It shld be exciting. It's FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!!!! except not. well it will be tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, we're going to "expand our horizons." (except Cailyn- who can't expand her shoulders) I hope the conferences are good and there are people I know in each class. I think we probably all signed up for similar conferences.....which ones did you sign up for????

So, today Jerusalem was bombed. just a 2 pound bomb near a bus stop, but it injured 25 and severely injured 15. Naturally Israeli Militants suspect the Palestinians. Also rockets from Gaza are being sent to Beersheeva. So, that's cool.
Also this whole situation in Libya. Now the US is involved. And sending missiles into a place possibly occupied by his family members. That's like if Libya hated Obama and killed his children.
Really America?
Also, the leader of the US military presence in Libya said flat out that the US is good at getting these things started (wars and such) and that once we got everything all rilled up, we would leave and let them and other countries deal with the problem.

Because we all know the US is good at blowing things up and then running away.

I'm trying to write a song. It sounds so cool, making your own music, and so I want to write a song. I feel like my style would be inspired by Ingrid Michaelson and the soundtrack of Juno... haha...

A musical week

Hey Everyone, Happy Friday!

As I sit here in the lounge, I can't help thinking about this very fun and musical week.

Obviously this week was tech week for Oliver! (which you all need to come see!), and so there was lots of singing and dancing. Being on sound crew, I've been with the cast all this week and I can't seem to get the songs out of my head! The cast is really great - everyone is doing a great time putting on a fabulous song. Please come out and support them. Also this week was Glee! It was quite exciting to see Kurt and Blaine's relationship develop, because you know we've all been waiting for it. I personally loved all the songs the Glee cast did this week, especially the original songs. They were really fun and upbeat.

And to answer last week's post about the longest snake: It was 33 feet long and found in Indonesia! Congrats to Kylie who got half the question right and seemed to be the only person that cared to answer...

Well... yeah.


So this week's Photoshop picture of the week is going to be a side by side comparison. The original is on the left and the retouched version on the right. As you can see, Photoshop is a very powerful tool. It make the pic on the right more intense, but not so much so that if people only saw that version, they would say it was fake.

A Sporty Weekend(:

This long weekend I have 3 hours of softball, 2 soccer games, and another 2 1/2 hours of softball. I love this! It's so awesome to actually feel active, meaning I can eat whatever crap I want and know that I'll work it off. YAY.

PS: A 3 1/2 minute wall sit hurts like a mofo. I mean, after about 2 minutes, it stops burning and just feels really weird, but when you get up, you're all "Ow, I feel like someone filled my legs with Rasberry Jello" (not lime because that flavor is disgusting).

I have so much APUSH to do this weekend, so this is short.

I'm bored... my friend just bailed on me :(

Yea, I forgot to find out who gets killed this week, and since its not like you could help it anyways, Imma just put it out there that our darling puffkin went on a killing spree and killed everyone.  sorry ellen, angels don't have the power to convict....or get rid of.

Mafia's too difficult with only 6 people.

French was fun today, i feel like there was a lot of vocabulary about killing, killers, and ...a dead person.

Anyways, I want to just rant for a few minutes about how oblivious we all are.  Honestly do you know anything about your friends? I just read "We Wear the Mask"  for english homework and it really struck a nerve with me because we talk all the time about how we conform to what we think would be the most acceptable to others but do we realize how applicable it is to us?  I really want to know how well we know our friends.

For some reason I took the reading into dramatic terms thinking that the mask completely changes who they are.  For example, I am a generally immature/random person, but is that really what I'm feeling all the time?  Honestly, is that what you think to be true?   If so, I want you to think about your own lives and the feelings you keep locked from everyone and as a personal challenge, if you are up to it, I want you to share it with someone you trust.

I can understand the reluctance to do it, probably more than most of you, but if it's something thats effecting you and keeping you back then pushing forward is better than letting it keep dragging you down.

I know it's a lot easier to dish it out than to actually take it, and considering I won't be taking it and I'm the one annoyed by it that should tell you a lot about how messed up I am.

If you don't take the challenge, just think about your friends, sometimes you could be missing something huge, and not even notice.

It's Friday.... and it's raining.

Meh. Ugh. It's raining, and as the rain falls for longer periods of time, I keep feeling sicker. I think I'm coming down with something. Like the flu. I hope I feel better ASAP - I really don't want to miss my drama tech rehearsal tomorrow.

My sickness aside, I'm glad this week is over. It's been a fairly ok week, and now that I've gotten my math test I had to make up out of the way, I have to focus (and stress) about the other papers and tests due in the not so distant future. Sigh. Please everyone, help each other stay sane until the end of the month. It's going to be a long month, I can tell.

You know what the latest craze is around here? Words with Friends. It's an Iphone App that basically combines Scrabble with social interactions with your friends. So you play Scrabble games with friends that you can find using their username, and then take turns playing words until one player wins. It's quite addicting actually. There's a free version of it which is pretty good, so you don't have to pay for a full version.

I'm really excited for next Wednesday though, because my religion class starts service then! I can't wait to go to my service site, Harrington House. It's a place for homeless women with children, and we get to help watch the kids and clean up around the house. I'm super excited! Then again, that's almost when the Huck Finn paper is due, which I actually haven't started writing... I'm going to try and do most of it this weekend. Speaking of homework, I'm technically supposed to be doing chem review right now so... yeah. I should get back to that.
